Taking care of your ACE Brewer filter is simple, effective, and key to getting the best cup every time. Our organic cotton filters are made to last, and with a few easy habits, you’ll keep your brew clean, flavourful, and low-waste.

AFTER EACH BREW

    Compost

    Used coffee grounds are great for compost! Simply dispose of them as you would other food waste or add them to your garden!

    Rinse

    Give it a rinse after each use. Squeeze and repeat a couple of times. Some colouration from your grinds over time is totally natural!

How long will it last?

  • Your filter is designed to last 8 to 12 months, depending on how often you brew and how well it’s cared for.

  • Some staining over time is completely normal — it won’t affect flavour or performance. Like the filter shown here, which is close to a year old and still doing its job.

  • That said, if your brews start tasting a little dull or draining slower than usual, it's a good time to swap in a fresh cotton filter

  • When you're ready for a refresh, simply keep your existing frame and pop in a new organic cotton filter.

SOME EXTRA TIPS!

Smart care habits to help you get the most from your ACE Brewer.

  • Refrain from using soap!

    Detergents will impact the flavour of your brew! Both coffee and tea have antibacterial and antiviral properties, perfectly fine when using the ACE every day!

  • Going away?

    If you aren’t going to be using the ACE brewer for over a week, simply place it in the freezer to prevent staleness! Run some water through and it'll be like new!
